La Torre de Claramunt is a town well oriented towards the sunrise, with a population density of 3,532 inhabitants, with an area of 14.80 km² and belonging to the region of Anoia (province of Barcelona). The old town is 364 meters above sea level. It is located in the lower valley of the riera de Carme, at the place of its confluence with the river d'Agost, which crosses the term from the eastern to the western sector. Half of the term is occupied by pine forest with some oaks and oaks. In the other half of the term, rain-fed crops predominate.
