Copóns is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. Belonging to the province of Barcelona, in the region of Noya, to the north of Igualada, in contact with the Calafina plateau. It is made up of two valleys between the Rubió mountain ranges (681 m) and the Vinyals (661 m), drained by the Noya river and the Sant Pere stream, which form the headwaters sector of the Noya at the exit of the Calaf plateau and entrance from the Odena Basin. It includes the town of Copóns, head of the municipality, and the hamlets of Viladases and Sant Pere de Copons, covering 21.53 km².
It limits with the terms of Veciana and Prats del Rey (N), Rubió (E), Jorba (S) and San Guim de Freixanet to the west. The first four in Barcelona and the last one in Lleida.
The perfect option to discover the beauty of the Anoia region from the air. It is an activity that can be done in the morning or in the afternoon. For the morning flights, you will need to be early, as they take place from 7:30am to 10:30am. Then there will be a good breakfast with local products, where there will be bread with tomato and cheese from Veciana (a small town 20 km from Copons) and sausage from Sant Martí Sesgueioles or La Llacuna. As for the afternoon flights, they can vary depending on the time of year, the return usually before sunset. Upon landing, a hot aperitif will take place on the same landing field, together with a toast with cava from Celler Figueres in Igualada.
